Unique High Def Travel Series Sets Sail for a Second Season Exclusively on WealthTV

SAN DIEGO, CA – September 24, 2007 – WealthTV, the premier luxury lifestyle and entertainment network in high definition, announced today that it has ordered a second season of its unique travel series “Distant Shores”, available exclusively on WealthTV.  The second season episodes, currently coming out of the editing bays, will continue to air during the 8:00 pm EST timeslot on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday night beginning in October.

Shot entirely on-location in breathtaking high definition, Distant Shores is a unique half hour travel series offering viewers amazing insights into the cultures of distant lands.  In season one, hosts Paul and Sheryl Shard travel to exotic destinations aboard their custom sailing vessel.  Accompanied by an international fleet of private sailing yachts, the Shard’s discover the cultures of the Middle East during a 2,000 mile voyage through the mystical Mediterranean waters.  Season two continues with the Shard’s making a transatlantic voyage west, continuing their adventures throughout the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean followed by an autumn voyage through the Erie Canal, the Chesapeake Bay, and Intra-Coastal Waterway.
